Well we have just unearthed some more VHF aerial lurking in a loft in walkley.

These little beauties allow you to run your sky receiver from other rooms.
Using the rFR2 socket on the back of your sky unit gives you house wide channel changing abilities. By default the voltage of 9volts is off that runs the magic eyes, the option off on off is buried in the menus The latest sky rrecievers need a seperate unit to allow the use of the magic eyes so if you suddenly lost your magic eye capability then call us sky wont sort the problem for you when they do fit the newer box unless you ask them to We go through co ax at a fair old during our tv aerial installations in Sheffield
A 200 metre drum is usually pretty reliable but occasionally we do have problems with a run So now we test each drum before using with an oscilloscope, tedious but it saves us stress and hassle in the long run Well that was a surprise stumbling across a long unused 2 metre satellite dish.
The house belonged to an elderly gent in the north of Sheffield he had simply kept it when he moved in allowing it to be a garden ornament The weather will quickly expose any weaknesses in your tv aerial its better we find them than the rain and wind and they will
A quick check is often all thats needed to give your tv aerial a thumbs up or a thumbs down That is nice we had to dive into a well known outlet today for some bits and bats, but we stumbled across a very nice ultra hd tv in all its glory
Make no mistake ultra HD blows current HD into the next solar system. see its wiki entry for morehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultra-high-definition_television but currently its the broadcast source, bandwidh and file size are the current limitation so it wont be here in the very near future and this set was going for £7000 Being bad with hearing my self I have made sure that my tv viewing is accompanied with a lot of audio back up. using a surround system.
This is the state of the art costing a far few quid but if you simply want to watch tv with hearing problems then there are solutions The simplest and easiest method is to pip[e your tv s audio into a good little stereo system, but the speakers need to as close as possible to your tv screen. However and the magnets in your speakers will interfere with your tv picture. Shielded speakers are available but the simplest method is to use thick say 1 inch pieces of chipboard painted up to loook attractive. So using your hi fi system is quick and effective.Another alternative is a sound bar again plugging into your tv s audio out ,these vary in price but like anything don't go for the cheapest. We wouldn't reccomend headphones these are very tiring afte hal an hour even lightweight ones Tel:07891903013 We say again there is no such thing as a digital tv aerial strictly speaking if your picture is fine
then all is hunky dory. A tv aerial can be 40 years old a function perfectly with a digital signal it very much depends on the quality of the original parts used We will say now components are not a patch on parts back in the 70s,we encounter 70s installs a lot and they still function a spot of maintenace with an anti corrosion spray is very often all they need and will probably be up another 30 years A terrestrial tv picture can break up very slightly, but in our experience with the latest PVR units this doesn't happen. There is a proviso here cheaper Freeview tellies or set top boxes wil give you problems including break up sound and picture sync problems These sync problems don't lie with the signal its purely the tv or set top box Humax boxes certainly suffer from sync problems sagem for instance do and badly If the break up descends into freezing then you have a picture that's unwatchable and will drive you spare TEl:07891903013 Electricians will fit any old co ax they can lay their hands on.
When we come to use it mostly in new house it gives us headaches, tell your electrician CT 100 is the minimym standard needed for co ax not some rubbish made in turkey |
